Multiculture Christmas Fusion and Karaoke

Celebrating diversity and coming of the light together.

Residents of foreign and Icelandic origin (of all ages) are encouraged to come and introduce Christmas / New Year / other religion festivals held around this time of year.

It should not require a lot of work to participate, doesn´t have to be super fancy, just come and:

• Show a typical and traditional Christmas/festival decoration (or even teach how to make one)
• Let people try and taste some special Christmas/Xmas/New Year candy or a cake
• Show and teach some games or a song connected to this season
• Tell a story or a tale what is linked to this time of year
• And all other ideas welcome

Cieszmy się i poznawajmy różne zwyczaje bożonarodzeniowe, noworoczne i religijne, organizowane w naszej pięknej międzynarodowej społeczności, tutaj we wschodniej części Islandii.
Wspólne świętowanie róznorodności.
Zachęcamy wszystkich mieszkanców, obcokrajowców i Islandzczyków, w każdym wieku, do wspólnego spotkania się i podzielenia swoimi zwyczajami bożonarodzeniowymi, noworocznymi, tradycjami religijnymi, które są celebrowane w ich kulturach.

To nie wymaga wielkich przygotowań, wystarczy przyjść i na przykład :
- Pokazać lub nauczyć innych, jak zrobić tradycyjne stroiki świąteczne lub ozdoby choinkowe.
-Świateczne smakołyki, przepisy, lub przygotowane ciasteczka.
-Opowiedzieć bożonarodzeniową ,bajkę, historyjkę.
- Przedstawienie albo piosenkę, związaną ze Świętami Bożegonarodzenia.
- Inne kreatywne pomysły mile widziane.

Komum saman fögnum, njótum, deilum og lærum um ólíka jólasiði og aðrar trúarhátíðir sem haldnar eru um þetta leyti árs, enda af nógu að taka í þessu fallega fjölmenningarlega samfélagi sem við búum í hér eystra.

Hvetjum íbúa að erlendum uppruna sem og Íslendinga til að koma saman og kynna jólasiði eða hefðir annarra trúarhátíða sem eru ríkjandi í þeirra menningu.

Þarf alls ekki að krefjast stórkostlegs undirbúnings eða vera flókið heldur bara koma og t.d.:
• Sýna eða kenna að búa til hefðbundið jóla/annarskonar hátíða skraut.
• Leyfa gestum og gangandi að smakka á hátíðarsælgæti, kökum eða öðru góðgæti.
• Segja jólasögu eða ævintýri sem tengd er hátíðinni.
• Sýna eða kenna jólaleik eða söng tengdan hátíðinni.
• Allar aðrar hugmyndir einnig velkomnar.
